8th – 11th February 2016 – Participation in the Twinning Project Support to Establishment of Ombudsman Institution, Ankara, Turkey

The Portuguese Ombudsman will be in Turkey from 8th until 11th February. In this journey, made within the Twinning Project Support to Establishment of Ombudsman Institution, will be taking place several activities in order to discuss issues related with the exercise of this State body, mainly skills, decision-making procedures, and violence against women.
The Portuguese Ombudsman will also strengthen the relations with his Turkish counterpart and other institutions of that country, exchange knowledge and experiences on the promotion and protection of human rights.
