Cape Verde’s Ombudsman visits the Ombudsman’s Office

The Ombudsperson, Maria Lúcia Amaral, accompanied by the Deputy Ombudsmen, Estrela Chaby and Ravi Afonso Pereira, received the Ombudsman of Cape Verde, José Carlos Delgado, on the premises of the Ombudsman’s Office, during a visit followed by lunch on 29 September.

It was an opportunity for the Portuguese Ombudsperson and her Cape Verdean counterpart to reinforce the objective of collaboration between the two national human rights institutions, namely through the organisation of training and exchange activities for their respective staff.
