German Embassy. Award Ceremony of the German-Portuguese Journalism Prize

The Head of the Ombudsman’s Office, Eva Gaspar, was present at the ceremony to award the third edition of the German-Portuguese Journalism Prize, that took place in the Goethe-Institut Auditorium, in Lisbon, on 3 May, World Press Freedom Day, organized by the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany. 

The award distinguishes, every year, the best journalistic works published in Portugal and Germany about the other country. It seeks to contribute to greater mutual understanding between the two countries and to promote the importance of independent and professional journalism as the basis of democracies.
