Human rights. Entries open for the IX edition of the King of Spain Award
Entries are open for the 9th edition of the King of Spain Human Rights Award, aimed at public or private entities that have distinguished themselves in the defense, promotion and realization of human rights and democratic values or that have driven programs to promote them values.
Sponsored by the Defensor del Pueblo of Spain and the University of Alcalá de Henares, of Madrid, the prize aims to recognize the work of entities in Latin America, Spain and Portugal that defend and promote human rights and democratic values. The prize is awarded every two years, and the Ombudsman is associated with its dissemination.
The application submission phase for the ninth edition of this award runs until July 31 of the current year.
