Migrants’ rights. Deputy Ombudsman at the closing session of the Congress on the Rights of Migrants in Detention organised by the International Organisation for Migration and the Portuguese Bar Association

The Ombudsman was represented by the Deputy Ombudsman, Ravi Afonso Pereira, at the closing session of the Congress organised by the Human Rights Commission of the Portuguese Bar Association (CDHOA) and the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) on the theme of “Migrants’ Rights in Detention”.

The congress took place on 19 and 20 October at the Salão Nobre of the Portuguese Bar Association in Lisbon, with the participation of Filipe Doutel, Advisor to the Ombudsman’s Office and member of the team of the National Prevent Mechanism. More information about the congress here and here.
