Ombudsman at the Commemorations of the Day of Portugal, of Camões and of the Portuguese Communities in Peso da Régua

On 10 June, the Ombudsperson, Maria Lúcia Amaral, was present at the Military Ceremony of the official commemorations of the Day of Portugal, of Camões and of the Portuguese Communities, that took place at Avenida do Douro, in Peso da Régua.

This year, the commemorations of the Day of Portugal, Camões and Portuguese Communities began in South Africa. In Portugal, the festivities took place in Peso da Régua, in the context of the nomination of the Douro, a World Heritage Site, as European Capital of Wine in 2023.
