Ombudsman meets with the National Republican Guard

The Deputy Ombudsman, Ravi Afonso Pereira, and the team of the National Preventive Mechanism (MNP) met with the General Commander of the National Republican Guard (GNR) on 17 October 2023, at the General Command’s premises in the Carmo Quartel in Lisbon. The meeting served the dual purpose of explaining how the MNP carries out its preventive action and of considering strategies for collaboration.
