Portuguese Parliament. Ombudsman participates in colloquium on democracy and religious freedom

The Ombudsperson, Maria Lúcia Amaral, participated as a speaker in the colloquium organised by the Assembly of the Republic, dedicated to the theme “Democracy and Religious Freedom”, which took place at the Passos Manuel Library, in the São Bento Palace, on 28 June 2023.

The colloquium, moderated by the Deputy Fernando Negrão, also counted with the participation of the Judge Counsellor José de Sousa Brito, the Imam of the Central Mosque of Lisbon, David Munir, and Esther Mucznic, member of the Religious Freedom Commission. More information here.
