Pedro de Sena

Coordinator

Pedro Miguel Vicente Pereira de Sena was born in Vila Franca de Xira on 18 November 1970. He holds a PhD with a specialisation in International Migration Law from the University of Amsterdam (2023), as well as masters’ degrees in Public International Law from the University of London (2014) and in Information Technology and Intellectual Property Law from the University of Hong Kong (2007). He graduated in Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, specialising in Legal and Economic Sciences, in 1993. Among other positions, he worked as a lawyer-linguist for the Macau Government and as an advisor-coordinator in the Legislative Assembly of the Macau Special Administrative Region. He served as an assistant to the State Secretary for Home Affairs of the XXII Constitutional Government and as an assistant and Chief of Staff to the State Secretary for Civil Protection of the XXIII Constitutional Government. He was also a consultant for the International Organization for Migration. He has undertaken further training in Civil Protection, Legislative Drafting, and Public Administration. Since February 2025, he has been the Coordinator of Unit D – Cultural Rights and Rights of New Generations.
